Cookie Policy
What rentor.com stores in your browser, and why.
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This page lists the ones rentor.com uses. Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle personal information more broadly.
Analytics: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are useful and which campaigns bring people to us. It sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga. We do not use it to sell or share your information or for ad targeting. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Security: Cloudflare Turnstile
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam bots. It may set short-lived cookies needed for that check. These are strictly necessary for the forms to work.
Ad and campaign tags
If you arrive from an ad or a link with campaign tags, the site saves those tags (such as utm codes and ad click IDs like gclid or fbclid) in your browser's session storage and in a first-party cookie named rvd_ad_click that lasts up to 30 days. If you submit a form, the tags are sent with it so we know how you found us. We do not send these IDs to Google or Meta from our forms or the rvd_ad_click cookie. Google Analytics does record the address of each page you view, and that address can include campaign tags from the link you followed.
The site also keeps the page you first landed on and the referring site in session storage for the current visit. It is cleared when you close the tab.
What we don't use
rentor.com does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data.
Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies won't affect the site. Blocking all cookies may stop our forms from passing the spam check; if that happens, call 707.444.3835.
